Virtually every CAH in Idaho acquired that status with intensive on-site consultation with IHA. Critical access hospitals continue to benefit from IHA expertise on CAH regulations, and conditions of participation. IHA performs annual quality improvement reviews and bi-annual credentialing reviews for most of the CAH's in our membership. Mock surveys, policy and procedure exemplars and on-site educational sessions are regular services provided to CAH's.
