Each year, IHA honors deserving individuals or institutions from across Idaho in the following award categories:
- Star Garnet
- Trustee of the Year
- Excellence in Medicine
- Award of Excellence in Patient Care
- Community Benefit
- Leader of Volunteer Excellence (LOVE)
- Junior Volunteer of the Year
- Special Recognition of Retirement
Nomination requests will be sent to IHA member hospitals in February 2012. Award recipitents will be selected in May 2012 and honored at IHA's 79th Annual Convention scheduled for October 6-9 at the Sun Valley Resort, Sun Valley, Idaho.
